I would highly recommend the Canterbury Rugby Union IHPU to any aspiring rugby player, the opportunity to learn from of one of the most consistently successful teams in world rugby is one that is invaluable and can really accelerate your development. During the 4 months I spent in the IHPU and playing club rugby in Christchurch the coaching and advice I received was second to none. It put me in a great position to make the step into the professional game when I returned home.
